Pranava Kumar V is a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Bosch and an MS Cybersecurity student at NYU Tandon. He is passionate about building a secure and connected digital world and has experience working in varied domains like Automotive, IoT, and Cloud. At Bosch, Pranava provides Information Security consultancy for Product teams to build a "Security-Engineered Product." He plays multiple roles like Project Security Manager, Project Security Analyst, and Product Security Homologation Engineer, and performs jobs like creating templates and guidelines for ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE W.29/R155 and R156, threat analysis and risk assessment, and guiding project teams in implementing security concepts. Pranava has worked with customers like Tata Motors, Daimler Truck, Scania, Desay, Suzuki, Kubota, EESL, Oshkosh, and EVG. In his free time, Pranava is a technophile who loves to understand new technologies and keep himself updated on the latest security news. He also works on his penetration testing skills through CTFs or on Hack-the-box. Pranava is motivated to work in information security as he believes every individual is entitled to a secure digital space, and information security enables people to protect their digital identities and enjoy digital freedom. His dream is to be a cybersecurity leader and spearhead the advancements of technology, making the cybersecurity space less intimidating for beginners. Pranava is making small incremental steps towards his dream. Pranava holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
